The Red Sea and the Wilderness of Sinai
Experience crossing the Red Sea and entering into the wilderness of the Sinai desert. Pass through the sites mentioned in Exodus 16, Elim and the desert of Sin. This is the desert where God fed the children of Israel with manna and quail. View the actual area of Rephidim where the Israelites fought the Amalekites in Exodus 17. This is where Moses held up his hands to win the battle and it is also where Moses struck the rock and water gushed forth.

Museum of Egyptian Antiquities
This museum is also known as the Cairo Museum or the Egyptian Museum and is located in Cairo. It exhibits a collection of over 120,000 ancient Egyptian antiquities ranging from the predynastic era to the Pharaonic era through to the Greco-Roman period. The treasures of the child King Tutankhamen can be viewed in this museum.
Sakkara
Sakkara is located 20 miles south of Cairo and is one of Egypt's most prolific archaeological sites. It is the home of the 4,700-year-old Step Pyramid which is the oldest of all the pyramids.
Luxor and Karnak Temple
Luxor contains the largest complex of temples of worship ever built. The majestic Luxor Temple was built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals dedicated to the god Amun Then.
Valley of the Kings
Magnificent tombs were discovered in the Valley of the Kings, these tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the Pharaohs.
Colossi of Memnon
This is the site of the famous and massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. They have the appearance of two gigantic seated Pharaohs. They are dated to the year 1350 BC.
Abu Simbel
Abu Simbel is the location of the famous temples commissioned by Ramses II and it is considered the most beautiful and grand of all the temples built during his reign.
Hatshepsut Temple
The Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir El Bahary is an impressive temple dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut, the only female Pharaoh. This temple rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs which surround it.
High Dam
The world-famous High Dam was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s. It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops.
The Island of Egilka and the Philae Temple
The Island of Egilka houses a temple which was dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple was actually located on the Island of Philae, but due to flooding it was dismantled and reassembled on the Island of Egilka.
Day 1: Cairo and Giza
- Arrive in Cairo.
- Visit the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx.
- Explore the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities in Cairo.
- Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 2: Memphis, Sakkara, and Luxor
- Morning visit to Memphis and the Step Pyramid at Sakkara.
- Afternoon flight to Luxor.
- Explore the Luxor and Karnak Temples.
- Overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 3: Luxor and Nile River Cruise
- Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.
- Begin a short Nile River cruise in the late afternoon or evening.
- Overnight on the cruise ship.
Day 4: Aswan and Abu Simbel
- Disembark from the cruise at Aswan.
- Visit the High Dam and the Temple of Philae on the Island of Egilka.
- Day trip to Abu Simbel Temples.
- Overnight stay in Aswan or return to Cairo for departure.
