Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia inspires us with stories of Arabian Nights and Lawrence of Arabia. Saudi Arabia includes an enormous land mass of 2,150,000 square kilometers (830,120 square miles) on the Arabian Peninsula.

Our present touring options focus on the north-west area of Saudi Arabia. The children of Israel most likely wandered through these parts of the Arabian desert.

Some say that Mount Sinai is in the Saudi desert.

The traveler to this country will be amazed by beautiful desert landscapes, inspiring rock formations, long coastlines along both the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf and archaeological sites to explore.

You will be exhilarated by off-road jeep tours and welcomed into authentic Bedouin tents.

The people of Saudi Arabia are service and hospitality oriented.

Come explore and tour and take part in a new era for the people of Saudi Arabia!

Things You'll See

Golden Calf

Golden Calf Alter

Some traditions believe that Mount Sinai is located in Jabal Al-Lawz.

When Moses went up into Mount Sinai to receive the Ten Commandments, he left the Israelites for forty days and forty nights. The Israelites feared that he would not return and demanded that Aaron make them "a god to go before them".

Aaron gathered up the Israelites' golden earrings and ornaments, constructed a "molten calf" and they declared: "'This is thy god, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt."

You can view a spectacular landscape before arriving at the Golden Calf Altar.

Jabal Al-Lawz (Mount Sinai)

Jabal Al-Lawz means “almond mountain” in Arabic and it is one of the most mythical mountains of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Some scholars believe that Jabal Al-Lawz is the actual Mount Sinai of the Bible since it is located in the ancient Land of Midian.

According to Exodus 3:1 Moses was shepherding the flocks of Jethro, the priest of Midian, in the Land of Midian.

Most people think that Saudi Arabia is just a vast extent of sand dunes, but with its summit at 2549 meters above sea level Jebel Al-Lawz is the highest mountain of Tabuk Province.  It is probably the only place in Saudi Arabia where snow falls nearly every year.
